About the event

Hamlet by William Shakespeare, in a translation and adaptation by Diego Pleuteri and directed by Leonardo Lidi. It is a production of Teatro Stabile Torino – Teatro Nazionale.

Pleuteri and Lidi return as a pair after their success last season. According to the programme text, Lidi does not simply restage a classic but uses it as a revealing trap, one that exposes contradictions and deceptions and gives the stage back its critical value.

The theatre is presented as a place where, beyond appearances, audience and actors together face the most radical question: what it means to be human.

The show is part of the PROSA subscription and the DYNAMIC subscriptions (ABBONAMENTI DINAMICI). Single tickets go on sale on 5 September at 10:00.
