The walk up to Castello Baradello is one of the most popular outings for people from Como and for visitors. It suits all ages and is rich in history.

The castle lies inside the Spina Verde Regional Park and was built by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. It stands in a strategic position above the city and the first basin of Lake Como.
