About the event

Teatro Invito has presented its 2026/27 season, the eleventh in the hall on via Ugo Foscolo in Lecco, where the company has been based since December 2016. There are eleven shows between 31 October and 17 April, all with curtain at 20:45.

The programme brings artists and companies from all over Italy, with attention to emerging groups and pressing social themes. Subjects range from Giorgio Gaber and Alda Merini to the war in Mostar, the mafia massacres of 1992-1993 and the Resistance. The company says prices stay low, with subscriptions and reductions.

Five evenings are organised with local groups: Anpi, Spi Cgil, the Forum Salute Mentale and Libera. Their members get reduced entry on those nights. The season has the patronage of the Province of Lecco, and for every ticket sold a tree will be planted in Tanzania through TreeNation.

Saturday, 31 October 2026 · 20:45	Il dio bambino, with Fabio Troiano. Monologue written in 1993 by Giorgio Gaber and Sandro Luporini, with their songs, directed by Giorgio Gallione: a tragicomic tale of a man who struggles to grow up.
Friday, 13 November 2026 · 20:45	Odissea Comedy, with Carlo Decio. Created in 2025 for Zelig in Milan, a comic version of Homer's poem in which the Lecco actor, directed by Salvatore Auricchio, plays 15 characters alone.
Saturday, 21 November 2026 · 20:45	Rita, by Aria Teatro. Marta Buchaca's tragicomedy, with Denis Fontanari and Monica Garavello, directed by Alberto Giusta, about two siblings and the difficulty of letting go of someone you love. With Spi Cgil.
Friday, 11 December 2026 · 20:45	QAnon Revolution, by Evoè Teatro. Written by Riccardo Tabilio and directed by Silvio Peroni, it traces the conspiracy movement born in 2017 through figures such as Jake Angeli, the "QAnon Shaman" of the 2021 Capitol assault.
