About the event

Care does not end with treating illness. In oncology, palliative care and pain management, health workers also have to deal with the ethical and spiritual dimension of the people they look after. This is the subject of the course "L’esperienza di cura - profilo spirituale ed etico", organised by Asst Lariana and the Centro di ricerca in Etica Clinica (CREC) of the Università degli Studi dell’Insubria.

The course takes place on Thursday 29 October 2026 at Confindustria Como. The scientific lead is Professor Mario Picozzi, director of Clinical Bioethics at Asst Lariana and professor of Legal Medicine at the Università degli Studi dell’Insubria.

The speakers come from different professional backgrounds, which reflects the multidisciplinary nature of care.
