About the event

On Thursday 29 October 2026 the association LetteLARIAMente APS takes a group by coach to "I Brueghel. Le origini dei generi pittorici in Europa" at Palazzo Reale in Milan. The coach leaves from Mandello del Lario and from Lecco.

The trip is organised with the municipalities of Mandello del Lario, Lierna and Varenna, which have given their patronage, and is part of the project "Cultura in movimento", which regularly offers encounters with art, music and "bel canto".

The exhibition, open at Palazzo Reale until 31 January 2027, is the first major show in Milan devoted to the Brueghel dynasty. It brings together more than eighty paintings, drawings and prints and shows how the Flemish family contributed to the birth of painting genres such as landscape, still life and scenes of peasant life.

Departure times and meeting points in Mandello del Lario and Lecco are not yet known.
