About the event

The talk follows the history of art to look at the role of landscape and how it has gradually changed: from a background element in a picture to a subject in its own right, and finally a space for artistic intervention. It is given by Filippo Timo.

It is part of the programme of events run by the Museo della Seta in Como under the title "IL PAESAGGIO COME OPERA D’ARTE. Percorsi tra natura, creatività e bellezza", organised together with the Ville e Musei del Lago di Como coordination.

The talk has been postponed to a date to be announced because of sudden force majeure. The date first listed was 27 October 2026 at 18:00, at the Museo della Seta, via Castelnuovo 9.
