Alone - Together. Beatrice Valessina - Elisa Veronelli

About the event

Alone - Together is an exhibition about the artistic dialogue between Beatrice Valessina (Lecco, 1997) and Elisa Veronelli (Lecco, 1991). The two friends, both members of the art group Teste d'Idra, use different means of expression to show their inner lives and their most current thoughts and doubts.

The central theme is loneliness, experienced by many women artists and by many young people today. The show presents art as a way to express this very contemporary feeling and turn it into creativity and dialogue.

It is the first step of the Alone project, created by Lumis Arte and the Municipality of Valmadrera to give institutional recognition to young Lecco artists under 35 and to share their creative work. The exhibition opens on Saturday 24 October at 17:00 at the Centro culturale Fatebenefratelli, Via Fatebenefratelli 6. On Saturday 14 November at 15:00 the artists host a shared art practice, open to artists, creators and people interested in art or teaching.
