About the event
STOMP, the British theatre production that has become a global phenomenon, mixes percussion, dance, theatre and comedy. Its soundtrack is inspired by the noises and chaos of everyday life.
Eight performers use everything from Zippo lighters to dustbin lids and even the kitchen sink to create driving rhythms that, according to the organisers, appeal to audiences of all ages around the world.
The show was created in Brighton by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas in 1991 and has toured the world since. At any one time, up to five STOMP companies can be on tour at the same time.
This performance at Teatro Sociale di Como is presented in collaboration with MyNina Spettacoli.
Typical weather
