From the Beatles to Woodstock

About the event

Dai Beatles a Woodstock is a concert and show created by Marco Borsani and Angelo Lonati. It combines stories and images of 1960s rock with, above all, a lot of music, played and sung by the Musical Box Ensemble.

The themes include beat, folk, psychedelia, rock blues, soul and hard rock; the mods, protest and the hippies; Beatlemania and the West Coast; the guitars of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton; the voices of Janis Joplin and Grace Slick; the New York of the Velvet Underground; and the beginnings of progressive rock.

On stage: Marco Borsani (guitar), Luca Galeazzi (bass and vocals), Davide Masciocchi (drums), Luca Dalz (keyboards), Giuseppe Marieni (bass) and the vocalists Lorenzo Quadranti, Francesca Millefanti, Diana Rossi, Silvia Zaccarella, Niccolò Meroni and Klod Brolis.
