About the event
The Piroscafi Lariani association is holding a cultural evening as part of its programme celebrating 200 years of scheduled navigation on Lake Como and 100 years of the steamers Patria and Concordia.
The evening follows the traces of musicians and composers who, over the last two centuries, crossed the waters of Lake Como aboard the historic steamers. Vincenzo Bellini, Franz Liszt and Marco Enrico Bossi are only some of the best known. Many lesser-known musicians also found a home and inspiration on the lake, with stories and scores worth exploring.
The talk is interspersed with a few musical moments. The curator is Francesco Albarelli.
