Getting to Gravedona
By car, the Statale Regina (SS340dir) runs along the upper western shore through Gravedona. ASF Autolinee bus C110 Como–Argegno–Menaggio–Colico stops in Gravedona, at Piazza S. Rocco among other places. Navigazione Laghi boats on the Como–Colico line take about 25 minutes from Varenna on fast boats (supplement) and about an hour on ordinary boats; from Como fast boats take about 1 hour 20 to 1 hour 40.
Ferry: Stop on the Como–Colico line, about 30 minutes from Menaggio on fast boats and about 1 hour 20 on ordinary ones. In the winter timetable (2 November 2026 – 14 March 2027) only a few boats a day call.
About Gravedona
Gravedona ed Uniti lies on the upper western shore of Lake Como, about 40 km north-east of Como. The municipality was created in 2011 by merging Gravedona with the mountain villages of Consiglio di Rumo and Germasino; the town itself sits at the mouth of a valley, with a small harbour.
