About the event

From 2 October to 8 November, Villa Carlotta invites visitors to discover autumn on Lake Como. Walk through the ornamental gardens to the upper part of the park, where autumn foliage and a pumpkin field with a warm, rustic atmosphere await. The area is devoted to pumpkins and autumn fruits, with themed installations and reading corners.

From 2 October a Giant Pumpkin greets visitors, made in collaboration with the Club degli Zucconi of the Associazione la Colombina in Casatenovo. It can be seen for a limited period only.

Carving and colouring workshops turn pumpkins into autumn decorations and lanterns for Halloween night. They take place on 24 and 25 October, 30 October and 31 October 2026 and cost the entry ticket plus 7 euros per pumpkin.

The event is part of the Festival d'autunno 2026.
